Recovery Day 2022

Peggy@99-1 is proud to support Recovery Day 2022 on Saturday, September 10th at The Forks!

Recovery Day is a national movement committed to mobilizing and organizing Canadians in recovery from addiction and addiction-related problems. The free event features live performances and speakers. Some of this year’s lineup includes performers from Canada’s Drag Race, Aboriginal School of Dance, and Chet Hanks. Our mission is to build awareness, challenge societal stigma, and celebrate the role that recovery plays in improving life for individuals, families, communities, cities, and countries.

We envision a world in which recovery from addiction is a common and celebrated reality.

We are passionate about sharing the faces, voices and stories of recovery in hopes of inspiring and inviting others to join us on the rewarding yet diverse, path to wholeness.

Together, we demonstrate the proof that recovery is real, attainable and sustainable.
