Peggy@99-1 is proud to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s Light The Night Walk at The Forks Festival Grounds on Saturday, September 28th.
Registration opens at 5pm.
On Saturday, September 28, join the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada at The Forks for a twilight walk in support of research and services to benefit blood cancer patients and survivors. Blood cancers are the 4th most diagnosed cancer in Canada, with lower survival rates compared to many other cancers. The Light the Night walk is a fundraising event that ensures critical blood cancer research continues to take place at centres across the country. Join us in support of the 138,000 Canadians living with or in remission from a blood cancer.
Research tells us that 68% of Canadians would feel helpless if they or someone they were close to was diagnosed with a blood cancer.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada is dedicated to supporting patients at any stage of their cancer journey; providing information and vital support services. The money raised will also go to the most promising blood cancer research taking place at cancer centres across Canada.
You can bring hope to the blood cancer community, register now and get a jump start on fundraising!
